Cafe eight

Amazing spot in downtown Calgary called Cafe Eight. You could miss this little hole in the wall space as part of another office tower if you weren’t seeking it.

The service is so kind, helpful and professional. You can tell the staff really care about their work.

The space is tiny. Clean. Well lit.

The java is spectacular. Carefully crafted beverages that are so delicious.

I’m so glad I found this hideaway!

From the moment I entered, I was captivated by the cafe’s charming decor and atmosphere. Good to study or chat with friends, the coffee and croffle I tried was so delicious. Will definitely visit here again!

PROS:
– Coffee is very good.
– Owner & staff are very friendly.
CONS:
– Acoustics are terrible in this coffee shop. Itis very loud. They need to hang some baffles to cut down the echoey noise.
– Baking good are overpriced.
OVERAL IMPRESSION
I get a coffee to go and drink it in the lobby to escape the noise in there.

First time visiting this place. Absolutely great service. A similar price point to Starbucks but better coffee and breakfast.

A nice little coffee shop on 8th Avenue SW. A good assortment of drinks, sandwiches and baked goods. I had a drip coffee and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Both were well made and tasty. While I was there, a customer came in who was rather demanding, looking for customized food order, changing the order and adding-on. The staff treated him well, accommodating what they could and explaining what they couldn’t. I was impressed with the quality of customer service.
