Caffe L’affare

We came in on Saturday just to grab a takeaway coffee and noticed all the yummy looking food going out from the kitchen so returned Sunday to enjoy a yummy breakfast before catching our flight back to Auckland. The Staff on both days were fabulous and the coffee was perfect and quick. Highly recommend as a stop when in Wellington.

What a sensational experience. Cafe was very busy yet we were showed to our table right away. The food started arriving without delay. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Top it with an amazing, fast and friendly service and this is easily one of the best hospitality experiences in Wellington. Thank you!

Lovely breakfast place. A nice ambiance. The toasted cheese scone was very delicious. The coffee is a bit too strong for me. A very friendly service. Great experience.

We’ve been coming here for years, but lately the standards have dropped noticeably. Serving sizes have shrunk, prices have gone up and staff seem inexperienced. (Please stop putting metal cutlery in front of our toddler!)

I had a salami breadzel and tiramisu, both of which were cabinet foods and they were awesome. My partner had Eggs Benedict with duck fat bacon but was a little disappointed as the eggs were slightly overcooked and tasted saltier than we expected. However, the overall experience was nice with great coffee and friendly staff.
