Coaltown Coffee Roasters was an unexpected delight! Stepping into their cafe, I was greeted by a warm ambiance and friendly staff. The aroma of freshly roasted coffee filled the air, and my experience only got better from there. From the first sip of their expertly crafted brew to the last bite of their delicious pastries, every moment was a pleasure. A hidden gem that I’ll definitely be returning to!
A fantastic coffee roastery in Ammanford, Wales. We went to visit the Observation Point and decided to stop by at Coaltown for a lunch time coffee. This is probably the best coffee in Wales, the cafe has a old fashion minning atmosphere with solid wooden tables and soft cushioned chairs which makes it comfortable. The staff here are very nice and friendly and the service is good. We ordered 3 cappuccinos and a ramblejack bar to share, the coffee was delicious as was the bar. I would say maybe a slightly bigger cup for the cappuccino for the price you pay.
Other than that, we had a very good experience and bought a packet of Prana Chai to take home. There is seating upstairs as well. I will definitely purchase some of their coffee in the future to make at home and will visit again when I come to Wales.

A must visit when in the area. Great coffee and chai lattes, and the baked goods… oh.my. 😍 Service is extremely friendly (thanks again Steph!) and they allow dogs as well. 🥰 Bought coffee as well to prolong the experience at home. 👍🏻 Will definitely visit again! Thanks guys! 🫶🏻
The food was delicious cake, the coffee was lovely and great service from super staff.
I’ve been a bit of a fan of Coaltown coffee for a while, drinking it in other coffee ☕ shops ( namely in Llanelli) but this was the first time I’ve been in their own coffee shop. Really nice, used it as a meeting place with an old friend, service was great, lovely ambience about the place and of course great coffee. I’d go out of my way to drop in again.
