Coffee World

Went for an uncharacteristically early run this morning and being too early for Grounds I paid my first visit to Coffee World since the opening of the new cafe. Really good coffee, nice atmosphere, friendly barista, excellent choco croissant. Recommended!

Bought a house latte to takeaway today, and a choc biscuit. Delicious coffee, could def taste the ‘snickers’ notes. Served by a very friendly barista who carefully went through options. Nice atmosphere, will come back with a friend.

Fantastic coffee tuition from Jake. I purchased an hour session of learning to use my own equipment, which I rocked up with and Jake took me through all the details and variables of brewing espresso. Incredibly informative and learned a lot. Just excellent. Honestly came away excited to experiment with “dialling in” and making coffee.

There has been a coffee roastery on the site for years. They recently opened a coffee shop and they are really serious about excellent coffee. I bought the tastiest expresso I have ever tried here. The food to go with the coffee is okay but not exceptional.

My partner and I attended a latte art class with Jake who expertly demonstrated and explained the different stages of latte art. He then guided us through creating our own art with patience and enthusiasm. Jake was a great and very knowledgeable teacher. The facilities were also great with a variety of high quality coffee equipment to aid the class. Thoroughly recommended to anyone interested in coffee.
