Dartbrooke Coffee

Decent, but not worth the price or the wait. It’s just one person behind the counter, so the line moves slowly. They charge prices that you’d expect from true specialty coffee shops, but it’s not really specialty coffee. The espresso tastes over extracted, and while their poster brags about using special milk from happy cows, you can see behind the counter it’s just cheap milk from Tesco. There are several much higher quality coffee shops for the same price within walking distance.

The owner is lovely and very confident in her brew. She was also very accomodating to our Australian coffee preferences. All up a nice experience and certainly much better than chain store coffee. Very pricey at £35 for 5 hot drinks and snacks tho… the same order in Perth would be around £20… but that’s London for you.

Just discovered this. Cakes looked good but just had a couple of espresso’s.
Nice seating and certainly a good meeting place. Like all ‘real coffee’ shops don’t expect a quickly made coffee

Best coffee in the City 💕 very good quality coffee and a very cozy place. The staff is very friendly and nice and they are all super talented – the latte art is amazing!! Also sometimes you can get free pastries if you go before they close – and they are very tasty
