Everyday Coffee

if you drink tea don’t bother, $6.06 for a measured 200 ml cup (apparently it looks tiny) and a side of milk, and no chance of deciding on your own brew strength. , It’s $5.50 in the menu so was I charged 56c for the milk or was this a surcharge for using eftpos? The guy who served me was nice, not his fault, but but If the owners really are worried about space being taken up by pesky tea drinkers with pots of tea I suppose it works, because I won’t be back again! Also the bagels are definitely over priced, $24 for a big brekky bagel, when an actual big brekky elsewhere is probably the same price! definite thumbs down

addendum: turns out in the very small print at the the bottom of the menu there is a 10% surcharge for weekends, according to the ACCC this has to be at least as large as the most prominent price on the menu, and I didn’t see it posted anywhere else in the cafe… I ordered at the counter and didn’t have a menu to look at! I posted a pic of the menu, see if you would have noticed it!

Lovely vegan bagel options and great atmosphere.

Coffee nice. But don’t go here if you want skim or alternative milk range.
They only offer Full cream cows milk, oat and soy.
Hash browns and bacon good.

Super friendly staff and cook and very chill atmosphere! Cook made me a special of the the carrot lox on its own as a side to takeaway so I could try it! Usually a couple offerings of batch brew and lovely with a side of oat milk! Some cute merch too including the sturdy Everyday mug and the bagu everyday tote bags! Recommended by Renee from Melbourne Vegan Guides! Have more vegan options these days
