About this restaurants :
There are so many foundation coffee house shops around the city of Manchester, that it’s definitely one of the to-visit list. Attracted by its store environment, let’s say the food was ok, but the menu doesn’t offer many choices. Don’t recommend the croissant. The oreo milkshake was very good!
Been many times to this lovely cafe with plenty of space to sit and sip coffee. A good range of specialities hot drinks, such as beetroot latte. Lovely latte art by the one of the barista. Breakfast and brunch were good with vegan friendly options. But there was once my breakfast bun was quite burned on the top. Also breakfast bowl has quite strong flavours (featuring onions) for the start of the day which might suit some but not others. Service can be slightly slow at times especially when it gets busy so be mindful of this if you are in a rush or have a train etc to catch.
Over priced coffee and food. Had a chicken and bacon sandwich (cold and £7) an oat milk flat white(£4) coffee tasted a little burnt.
The atmosphere is lovely especially for people who want to work in coffee shops. Other than that I feel robbed.
My friends came here specifically for coffee but as I’m a non-coffee drinker, I ordered Matcha Latte.
Everything was ordered via their QR code and you’d go to their counter to collect the drinks. Service was minimal.
The Match Latte was ok. Very frothy, not milky or creamy but had a kick of umami flavour of the matcha. The texture was not what I expected and so I was somewhat disappointed but the flavour was spot on.
However, my friends were disappointed with their coffee. Despite being a coffee house, they were just average in my friends’ opinion. Nothing to rave about.
Nice coffee. Reasonably priced – especially for a city centre café. I liked the atmosphere too. I’ll go again.
