Kali Coffee Bar

Dropped in here on the recommendation of a friend, and it was absolutely fantastic! The mochas were delicious. Atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. Lana & Laura were delightful, and gave us a *huge* list of recommendations for other places to check out while visiting.

Living in Dublin this place is a 100% must visit any time I’m in Galway! Super sound staff always up for a chat and the coffee is honestly top 5 in the country, and definitely the best in Galway! If you haven’t been yet you’ve got to, worth visiting Galway just for this place!

I visited this coffee shop 3/3 days that I was in Galway.

The barista was friendly and took the time to explain the different coffee options and helped me pick something that suited my tastes perfectly! . Their passion for coffee was evident.

The ambiance was inviting: the atmosphere was cozy and the outdoor garden space in the back a welcome break from the city’s bustle.
The coffee itself was exceptional, bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The attention to detail in presentation added a special touch.

As Scandinavians, we love our cinnamon rolls. And we get frequently disappointed when we encounter buns that are too big / sweet / small / sticky / dry / fancy. Give us a cinnamon roll that is soft and fragrant with hints of cardamom, delicately glazed and still warm from the oven. Which is exactly what we got at Kali.

We passed by the coffee shop in the morning and were drawn in by the box of fresh buns waiting behind the counter. The front and interior is really inviting too. And the staff were so kind and friendly, it really gave us a great start to the day.

Coffee is, of course, fantastic. We’ll be back next time we visit Galway.

Absolutely awesome coffee! Love the space and the people. Dog friendly! 🥰 could be relaxing on my own or make a friend in there. If you are a nerd about coffee or if you just like a morning brew to start the day, they have you covered. Cute little garden outback and the sea front on thier door step aswell.
