Kingswood Coffee – Australia Square

These guys know their batch brew filter coffee.

It was quick and easy.
And I was so pleased to see them serve my takeaway in a returnable reusable pasta sauce jar.
This was awesome

Good coffee and good people. Been my go-to coffee in the city since 2015, first at World Square and now luckily at my new office at Australia Square.

Beans are also always delicious for my WFH days.

Best coffee I’ve ever had. I ordered a double shot caramel latte each morning, on my trip to Sydney. And let me tell you, it was perfect every time.

Went to buy a coffee half an hour before their closing time, the barista took out a pre ground shot in a cup that had been there for a while, when I asked if I could have the freshly ground bean from the grinder I was told that the coffee was ground ten mins ago and it is still fresh. We all know that once the ground coffee airs within a few minutes the taste changes. They put the old ground coffee in the porta filter basket which came out runny like water, when i asked again for fresh beans they then proceeded to give me freshly ground coffee but burnt the milk and the coffee tasted like the grinder has been just cleaned- all chemical like. Really really disappointed. I expected better…

I was looking for a new regular coffee spot in the area and spotted Kingswood when I was getting lunch in the Australia Square food court. Ordered a takeaway skim cap and it was delish. Good flavour, right temperature, reasonable price ($4 for 8oz) and they’re on the Ritual app. Think this will be one of my regular spots.
