Food inedible, overpriced, dry and tasteless
Walked in seeing multiple tables loaded with dirty dishes, not one single clean table. 4 staff on but not exactly busy as they don’t wait tables
I asked the girl if she had a cloth so I could clean our table, instead of doing what someone is hospo should do and go and clean it for us, she gestured to a dirty cloth on the counter that I could go and take to clean the table. Never seen such a disgrace from a cafe – and one that is representing NZ for many tourists. Disgusting – we aren’t pigs!

A lovely place to stop for a break. Mum and I had coffee, cake (carrot & coconut and lemon) and the steak and mushroom pie. Food was all really tasty. Service was relaxed and friendly. Thanks for an enjoyable stop along our day.
I asked the cashier if she could please send someone to clear the table, she told me that I could sit there if I want but they won’t do it for me. Also, I can understand if it is for food or coffee, but a wait time of 20min for hot water and a tea bag.
Very bad staff, with attitude.
They prepared coffee but it was on table waiting for some one to bring to table. When asked there was an attitude from staff. Will never go back
