Monogram Coffee

Was visiting Calgary for a day and found this nice coffee shop with good reviews and decided to try it out, wasn’t disappointed.

Their seasonal Vanilla Cinnamon Latte was amazing. It was mildly sweet, a bit spicy and had a great texture overall. I recommend trying their seasonal flavours if you are looking for something new.

Also tried the Avocado Toast which was decent, lacking a bit of flavour, more salt needed but paired well with the coffee..

Good coffee shop to grab a cup while in downtown. Baristas are quite cold, business-like, not very informative, but get the job done nonetheless. They had only one pour over available of the two on the menu. Had a washed Kenyan that tasted quite nice, tea-like. A cortado with the blend of Ethiopia and Colombia tasted OK but wasn’t quite conventionally textured and represented. Decent selection of beans available for purchase. All in all, it’s an OK coffee shop, somewhat mainstream-inclined, but still specialty-feeling.

I saw their beans represented at some very decent multi-roasters, including Revolver in Vancouver.

Out of province visitor

Medium sized coffee shop with with breakfast and other food available. Plenty of seating, either as a booth or single spots.

Business is located on the ground floor within, what seems to be an office building.

Service was quick, with your order dropped off at your table after ordering from the counter.

Simply fantastic. They take their craft seriously and it shows in every sip. Whether you’re a fan of a classic espresso or prefer something more adventurous like a flavored latte, their expertly brewed concoctions will surely please your taste buds.

A bright and clean coffeeshop in the heart of downtown Calgary. Simple coffees and light breakfast and lunch fare. The food is prepared with care and the staff were friendly. Great views with the huge windows.
