About this restaurants :
Can’t find any fault with the coffee, perfectly extracted and great taste. It’s small place, so definitely difficult to find space to sit specially on weekends. The only thing I dislike is the fact that while making payments (even for takeaway coffee) they will always give you an option for giving or rejecting tip, like really? We are in London, why are we trying to become the US or Canada? If you want to increase the prices sure go ahead, but giving customers a pressure of tipping for a takeaway coffee? Why will you do that?
I came in to get a bite before my massage right across the cafe. It’s wonderfully quiet and a lovely place to kill some time.
I got the mint tea and the chocolate croissant. The tea pot was quite big and the croissant was really quite good (other than being cold 🙁 but bonus points for being covered in so much chocolate!!) This is a nice place to just relax and not get caught up in the usual chaos of London coffee shops.
Incredible coffee — some of the best (and strongest) I’ve had in London. Love that alternative milk is free. Also a great place to work. Big thanks to Elliot for the rec !
Ordered a flat white, the coffee tastes AMAZING!! Nice vibes inside as well
This place is legit. Just good coffee and dedication to the art. I always order a mocha whenever I try a new cafe because for me, this is the real testament to a barista’s skill. You can actually see whether they know what they’re doing or if they just know how to make a cookie-cutter coffee. Let me explain. A bad mocha will taste like someone took half a pot of coffee, dumped some chocolate into it, stirred it, and then served it to you. It will taste awful with a sour bitter coffee, and then bizarrely sweet chocolate. You’d think to yourself: why would anyone order this? That is, until you have a good mocha. You see, a good mocha will taste like a perfect harmony between the coffee and chocolate, where the flavour profiles match and complement each other, and make it taste like an entirely new thing together that just works. Or in other words, what a mocha should be. I’m happy to say this place is one such place that has a banging mocha. The baristas clearly tasted their mochas before and ensured the coffee beans and chocolate used were both of the sweet variety so there is no harsh contrast between the two but rather a perfect union. It sounds simple, but so many places fail at this because their baristas aren’t actually trained in the art properly. Massive shout out to the boys here and props to them. They were chill af, didn’t seem to mind me working on my laptop for an hour and were playing some good female RNB. I didn’t even put in my headphones it was that good. If you’re passing by I would definitely recommend. If looking to do some work I would strongly urge you get there prior to 12pm as the place gets really busy around then. A good time would be between 10-11am if you want a good seat. Cheers once again I’ll be back.
