Starbucks Georges Quay

First impressions are important, so that didn’t go well. This shop looks grubby. So maybe the service will make up for it? No, thanks to aloof experience provided by Kathy. Seems to have no interest in our experience in the shop, and couldn’t even be bothered to stir the drinks. Maybe that is extra? Food and drink (once stirred) was fine. Did anyone mention the toilet?? Ugh.

A very nice Starbucks and staff. Yet… no butter for a scone? That’s crazy. We’re in one of the best countries in the world for butter and I’m having a dry cold scone. They don’t provide it 😱 This is just wrong. I recommend a staff visit to The Butter Museum in Cork. Educate yourselves on the merits of butter here! Starbucks be shamed!

If you don’t have place to sit so please ensure that you communicate it to the customers accordingly. this is not at all acceptable and pathetic to ask customer to move out to place where they cannot sit. Change your ways of working when addressing the customer if not you will be at the receiving end !!

The worst hot chocolate I have ever had. As a person who is easily pleased by hot chocolate, this was beyond poor. The drink had no flavour to it and at the bottom there was nothing but a sour taste to it. I rarely leave any drinks unfinished but I had to leave this one. Over priced rubbish. There was two separate broadband connections neither of which work on computer or on iPhone. I won’t ever be coming back not to just this Starbucks, but all Starbucks as a result. A shame.

The service was really good, especially the employee “Tokyo” and also the other employees were so nice. The best Starbucks employees so far. I will definitely come again!
