The casual, mountain town atmosphere is without pretense, but the food and coffee are California wonderful.
I was greeted upon entry, though the staff was diligently working. It’s clear: there is a local following and these folks enjoy their work and the folks they meet.
I met the
Most lovely local. He has a heart as big as Texas and a deeply thoughtful mind. We had such a great conversation about culture and travel and the flow of life.
The “everything” spice/seed mix takes the avocado toast a level higher. Add a cappuccino with vanilla and you’re golden.
I hope you’re there when Natasha is selling flowers. Buy bucketfuls.
Do check out the multilevel back porch, part of which is under a huge cedar. Very huge.
The restroom is behind the cedar tree deck and a little to the left. I found it to be clean and well maintained.

Incredible people and service… and the food is too die for. La Abuela drink is an elevated take on Mex hot chocolate. The lox is my fav every time. 😊
Such a cute coffee shop with really friendly baristas. We enjoyed some very tasty hot lattes after a chilly sunrise in Yosemite and they have great local artwork for sale too. Highly recommend stopping in!
Highly recommend if ever visiting Mariposa! I walked the pleasant two blocks from 5th Street Inn and enjoyed my Sticks Latte and breakfast sammie in the brisk morning air, taking full advantage of their spacious outdoor patio seating. Lovely employees, beautiful little building, and fresh flowers being sold out front! This Texan gives it a solid 10/10!
Sticks Coffee was a fun stop while heading out of the valley and back on the road home. The perfect coffee fuel stop! Yummy drinks and great walking distance to explore a little of Mariposa. We had the happy camper latte and it was delicious.
