About this restaurants :
Stopped by for a quick breakfast – brilliant staffs who were all very attentive and welcoming. Interior decor had its down charm.
Food wise – decent options incl afternoon tea which was on the menu but have yet to try. Mocha was rich in chocolate (adore) and would recommend the Victoria sponge. Not a huge fan of the pork pie, enjoyed the tiny bit of salad it came with instead
Liked this place but was expecting it to be better than it was, all nice so no wow unfortunately. A very straightforward high tea with loose leaf tea and quick, friendly service. Not cheap but not bad value and worth a visit. Thanks
A mother and daughter trip to enjoy afternoon tea in the oldest shop in England. The scones were especially soft and warm, the best we’ve had. Thank you for making our dream come true.
Afternoon tea was okay but the scones were less than average. Price was though more than average.
Adding a service charge should be a choice, not forced onto my bill, or just include it in your pricing.

Seems to be the oldest cafe in town and service lives upto its name. But they really need to work on their food. Egg sandwich was below average, though fish sandwich was just about okay. Scones were below average too. Food seemed to be fresh.
Service was quick and very courteous. Went there for a high tea in the afternoon.
