The Little Cottage Cafe

Really nice hotel rooms and facilities are really nice. I was disappointed in the food menu both the bar and restaurant menus were the same. I would have expected different menus. The food was nice but menus was limited and had a lot of spicy foods on it which I can’t eat so I was limited in the choices I could make.

Having been recommended to try this cafe we are so pleased we did. Only small but the service and food were excellent. We had a bacon sandwich which was served on the freshest bread and granola bowl – one of the freshest and tastiest breakfasts we’ve had for a long time. The coffee was really good and the cakes looked amazing.
We’ll definitely return.

I ordered the fish pie and it was absolutely delicious! The fennel soup was also great. Really cosy spot, friendly staff.

Googled somewhere good for breakfast and found the The Little Cottage Cafe got great reviews- we weren’t disappointed. Friendly staff and great selection of tasty food on offer. I had the breakfast bap ( see photo) lovely. They also catered for Gluten free which was an added bonus. We took some tray bakes to go, delicious. Will we come back? Absolutely…

Tiny inside and every table seated but the short wait was worth it. Friendly servers who never stop moving!

I’ve stopped ordering pancakes most places and just make them at home but review pics of theirs looked promising so I gave it go. They didn’t disappoint – tasted just like I’m used to from the USA. Fluffy, a little thicker and crisp edges. Amazing!!

Didn’t get a picture but the muffin was incredibly moist and tasty, as well.
