Scones are to drool over for – cozy little spot and love their repurposed furniture pieces
Highly recommend The Merseyside for a good breakfast and coffee.
The italiano sandwich with ham, roasted red peppers, parsley and cheese was really good. They also have amazing home made scones – loved the apricot scone: rich and moist with fruit pieces inside and a delicious sugary glaze.
We were recommended to check out The Merseyside, known for their handmade scones.
Besides coffee, there’s breakfast sandwiches, regular sandwich and scones. Not a fan of spots that don’t put up prices.
– Latte ($4.25 medium) – B opted for oat milk ($0.90 extra). Smooth, nicely balanced.
– Ham + cheese scone (~$4.50) – scone had a slightly crumbly texture.
– Peameal bacon breakfast sandwich ($~5.50) – grilled to order. Decent.

Coffee was good. The scone was one of the best I’ve had in the area. Friendly service. It’s a small place and there isn’t anywhere really to sit inside at the moment as they have seating still blocked off (covid related I’m assuming). Limited chairs outside.
Just grabbed a chocolate coconut croissant and a blackberry chocolate scone 2 minutes ago and they were both amazing. So amazing I had to come and write a review. Lol. Definitely come try this place out.
