Variety Coffee Roasters

Not my favorite Variety location… I came in and ordered a cappuccino and muffin, and overheard one of the employees make fun of my order to their coworker, saying “no one comes in and orders that muffin” while laughing like it was a big joke. Why have something in stock if it supposedly doesn’t sell well, or recommend other options rather than act like teenagers making fun of what people order? Not everyone wants to just order a latte or cold brew, sometimes people want to order something else. If you want to make a comment to your coworker, at least wait until the customer leaves. Coffee was alright, atmosphere was uncomfortable, especially for a rainy day and employees who don’t care much about their jobs.

They’ve got a decent range of drinks on the menu—your usual lattes, cappuccinos, and some funky specialty brews that spice things up a bit. They’ve also got some munchies to pair up with your drink. The staff is pretty laid-back and friendly, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere.

Pretty good coffee beans with all the information needed printed on the box. I just wish they use a different packaging (like a single ziplock bag) because the current packaging has an unnecessary second layer and doesn’t even seal well which is a waste of good beans.

Not many coffee shops in the area so I gave it a try definitely not coming back. Coffee was okay but the service was not that great. I suggest when there is a line of people waiting to order to not chat up with friends or other costumers for minutes when the rest of us are waiting to order….but that’s just common sense.

I always enjoy their coffee since I work around the area. Usually the staff are friendly but sometimes, some people are not… people love smiles!
