1 Thai Restaurant

The food at 1 Thai is some of the best I have enjoyed not only in Oklahoma but around the country. They have the typical menu items as well as some house specialties that are well worth trying. Their spicy pork noodle soup, for example, has a flavorful broth with a hint of lime and has a generous amount of ground pork, pork balls, and sliced pork. They include high quality proteins in all of the dishes I have enjoyed. Sometimes the service is a little slower than other places, but I believe it is because they are preparing each customer order when it is placed. The staff is very welcoming and attentive and seems to enjoy building up a rapport with customers.

All the staff was incredibly gracious, and I don’t think our glasses were ever less than half full. Food was fabulous, served quickly, and spring rolls were not at all greasy. The Larb was refreshing, and Drunken Noodles & Pad Thai were great at various heat levels. And they brought out extra heat options when my son said he wished it were even spicier. I just wish we lived closer!

Service deserves another star. This is why Asian food service, when done right, is world renown; this is one of those experiences. That’s more than enough to come back, but the food…so, so, so good. I’ve had tons of curry, and this place is a blessing for Shawnee and Oklahoma. If you think you got some place better, I’d like to know it.

You just can’t be disappointed here. The flavors are so good and rich. The price is not bad at all; the value is incredible. The atmosphere is very clean and modern, which is not a problem.

Don’t wait. This is a place you need to try today.

Second time this week I’ve been here and it’s been absolutely delicious both times. The evil jungle curry was full of flavor, my tom yum soup was spicy and just what I needed to warm up tonight. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s such a clean place and the two people that work here are so friendly. If I’m ever back in Oklahoma, I know where I’m eating dinner!

We just stopped by here for the first time this week on a whim and I was absolutely blown away. The staff is so kind and friendly, the inside is clean and has neat artwork, and the food was phenomenal. I got the Thai spicy pork noodle soup and it was probably the best soup I’ve ever had in my whole life. The serving was big enough for 3 meals and every time I took a bite I was still shocked how good it was. My husband had the massaman curry with tofu, which is his go-to, and he said this place did it best. The mango sticky rice was so cute and the butterfly pea flower lemonade was magical. We’ll be back for sure.
