About this restaurants :
Really cool spot. The decor is classic cars and soda. It’s really clean. The food is good. The frozen custard is fantastic. The owner came around and talked to people. Highly recommended
First of all, the young man who waited on us was very polite, friendly and efficient. So, a great start to the meal. I thought the food might not be that great, especially as a vegetarian, but the veggie burger and battered onion rings were really good. It was not busy when we arrived at 4 PM. We decided on a quart of mint chip frozen custard for our RV freezer and got one scoop of butter pecan for me and two scoops of turtle sundae for my husband and took those back to the RV to eat. The butter pecan was the best butter pecan (ice cream or custard) I’ve ever had so I couldn’t resist going back in for a quart of it to add to the freezer too! We would definitely stop here again.
Restrooms were clean!
The gravel RV/truck parking area is large and level with 2 entrances/exits so easy access and exit. There was one semi, a 5th wheel and a Class A parked there but there was room for our Class A and still room for more.

We sat and chatted with the owner. He put a lot of love into the creation of his menu, finding the best of all ingredients he uses. Wisconsin cod filets and cheese curds. .topped off with a dish of Frozen Custard made in restored custard equipment from the heart of Wisconsin. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon lunch. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Wish I could give them six stars! This restaurant, and the entire staff is “off the charts” GOOD! Traveling from Missouri to Arizona on vacation, this was the most logical Harvest Host location to spend our first night. To my delight, Marvin, the owner was there, along with his friendly staff. The food, made to order, was absolutely delicious, hot, and served with a smile. When Marvin told me that his frozen custard was better than “Andy’s” in Springfield, MO, he wasn’t kidding. It was simply the best. We decided to explore Elk City OK the next day, and it is a gem also, particularly their Route 66 Museum. Will now be on our radar for future trips out West.
Stopped in on our way to Amarillo through the Harvey’s Host program, and had a great experience! Everyone was kind, service was fast, and the food was delicious. They let our kids pick which car their food came in, and they were so excited. The special sauce that came with the meal was excellent! My husband had the pizza, and I had the cheeseburger. Both were very good! We of course got milkshakes and frozen custard to-go, all flavors were delicious!! If you’re in Elk City, you’ve got to stop in and check them out!
