A & V Drive-In

Was excited to see A&V moved over to Osborne. We dropped in to pick up the fat boy, mushroom burger, and a poutine. The burgers had a nice bun, patties were well seasoned, and ingredients were fresh (also great pickles). The poutine was great, they used good cheese (shredded not curds) and the gravy had good flavor. My attached photos do not do the food justice. Good pricing and nice staff.

Had them once when they were on Chevrier and now they’re even closer to me in South Osborne!

Still amazing food. Tried different things than before with the fish burger and poutine. Fish burger was very good, bun was light and fluffy and had plenty of shredded lettuce. Poutine, I think they used different fries now compared to when they were at Chevrier? Last time I remember getting shoestring fries but now they’re thicker but I’m not complaining, very tasty! That gravy is delicious, has tons of flavour.

It’s nice because you can eat and watch people curl too! Will go back to try their regular burgers and more!

Overall everything was quite good here! The staff were very friendly. I ordered the bacon burger and it had chili listed as a topping, but there was only a small amount when served. I prefer my Fatboy style burgers to have a more noticeable chili presence.

Lunch and a show what more could you want?

How about the best chili burger in the city??? or the best fries with chili in the city. Because that’s what you will get here.

I just heard about this place a few weeks ago and have been there twice since and will be back again and again. I consider myself a connoisseur of fat boys and chili burgers and this place has it mastered.

On top of all this you can order beer and watch curling while enjoying your meal.

Can’t speak for the rest of the menu but if you love a good burger this is the place.

Went to try this place out
Went around supper time… terrible time to go as it was curling Night
No where to sit on the main floor as parents and kids were changing/getting ready to curl
Go up stairs to the lounge … kids running around
Trying to talk to my buddy and enjoy out meal… yea right
More or playground then a place to eat or get drinks
Didn’t get any napkins of silverware with out meal…
Was kinda disappointed over all …. thankfully the food was ok…
