What do Abrakebabra Cork visitors reviews this place?
This place has gone dead and when you see how overpriced the items are for the quality you understand why. If they brought the prices down or put more effort into the food prep it would greatly help. There was no atmosphere at all you almost feel like they don’t want you in there. The food was not the worst but due to the high prices you would expect a much higher quality but you do not get this here. The chips were ok and nice seasoning. What happened to the nice burger buns?
What happens with the portion size? Enough that the prices went up, now only half of the box is filled up with food. Also, taco fries had barely any sauce, absolutely tasteless. And this only happens in this specific Abrakebabra on Patrick’s street… not coming back.
Nice shop on the main street, but things have changed overtime. It used to be that the food was amazing, and would justify visiting the shop, even if it was a bit out of the way. But now, whatever has happened, it’s just lost that touch. The restraint feels dead inside, all the staff look bloody miserable inside, the food comes out cold, all while being charged extortionate prices. The wraps we had today, they’ve swapped to flatbread from tortilla wraps, so not 40% of the meal is just dry, honestly bad tasting bread. The chips were limp? Not even soggy, just not fried enough, and “seasoned” was a bit deceiving, they had pretty much no flavour to them at all. And to top it all off, the bathrooms were a bit messy, and no toilet paper inside, which is just irritating and embarrassing for my friend to have to ask for some at the counter. Paid around €23 for two wraps, a small bag of chips, and a diet coke, which I can say with some certainty, was way too God damn much, considering the prices of other menu items? For what you get, going to Burger King would be a much better option, especially considering all of the coupons and constant discounts you can get, which Abracadabra doesn’t seem to have.
Definitely that was my last visit in there. Taco fries superdry so cold cheese didn’t even meltdown. Went to toilet wash my hands 🤯, can’t believe that place is still open.
What an absolute kip. Ordered 2 taco chips and chicken kebabs. Taco chips were stone cold when I went to query it they complained I tasted it. Chicken kebabs were coleslaw and tomatoes and the bread was all broken up. Avoid avoid. Manger or leader as the staff looked soon him was very rude. And couldn’t believe we could complain. Food was horrible.
