I have known about Big Bite for at least 15 years but was daunted by the sandwich sizes I would see colleagues bring back to work. Today I was able to try for the first time by sharing with a friend! We ordered the Lemon Pepper Chicken on white bread. Very tender chicken, lots of salad, nice bit of mayo and thick cut bread slices off the loaf.
Portion sizes are huge, even when sharing between 2 people. $14.50 represents excellent value. Come early as it does get busy. Only complaint is the excessive amount of foil they use for each sandwich – it is almost wrapped twice in foil. Less foil could easily be used or a more environmentally friendly option.
You better be hungry before eating this.
Chicken sandwich costs 14aud is more than “enough.” You will get surprised to see this portion.

The shop was very busy but the food came out fairly fast considering. The sandwiches are massive, I got the salad sandwich and it was yum. Reasonably priced for the serving size plus being in Sydney. The lady who took my order was nice.

This sandwich place was amazing. My husband and I enjoyed a turkey and a Portuguese chicken sandwich, respectively. They were both delicious. The bread was soft and airy. The Portuguese chicken sandwich had a nice kick to it. Don’t miss this place while you’re in Sydney. Sadly, they’re not open on weekends.
