Cafe Piccante

Great place to eat at when in Edinburgh, they serve a wide variety of food such as fish and chips, kebabs, pizzas, burgers and the traditional deep fried mars bar. The staff are also very kind and welcoming when entering the shop.

This place is a must do to visit in Edinburgh! The owner Salim is lovely, kind, and really looks after his customers. The other staff members are also really nice and welcoming.

At the weekends there is a DJ playing fantastic music until 3am which makes it a great place to be. Sometimes it’s Salim himself and has a great choice of music.

The food is grest, the fried mars bar was surprisingly very good!!

💯 recommend visiting here, especially late in the evening at the weekend, you will have soo much fun. I didn’t want to leave

Really good fish and chips, much better than what you get in the US. I’ve never had chips with brown sauce, and I’m not sure I can have them any other way now. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in Edinburgh.

Chips cooked perfectly. Rapid service. Food was hot and fresh. The gentleman man service was professional and friendly. The atmosphere was quiet I assume due to time I arrived. Decor is fantastic must see!!

Then.. same… with ice cream.

The Wife had chips n sauce.
A local delicacy… wasn’t too bad.
I tried a few…. quite nice.

Wine n a beer.
I made a point of that.
Enjoyed it.
