Chicken Hub (City Road)

Went in after 3pm earlier today to meet the cravings for some fried chicken, it rained all day :).
Ordered the 3 chicken + 2 wings meal, added the large option and also asked for additional 2 wings. This was a take-away order. Young Afghani fellow took the order, he showed me that only 3 chicken pieces are left. The chicken pieces were small so I asked for the extra wings which I paid extra for too. He was very friendly and everything seemed to be fine but then when got back to the flat, noticed that the 2 additional wings aren’t there! Very disappointing and the lowest possible review reflects that.

I ordered a portion of 5 BBQ chicken and the owner gave me 6 because I was sharing w/ my husband. And the food is decent quality in compared w/ the price. Highly recommend if you want to eat sth quick and cheap.

Just had the Peri Peri chicken and it was delicious! Cooked to order with fresh, hot fries and a Pepsi with real sugar. It hit the spot after a long day!

I ordered a basic 5 wings meal, the food was alright but it’s extremely salty.

Around over an hour, I ended up in the toilet and it was not normal.

This was much better was when it was Chicken Cottage, the quality isn’t the same.

Well seasoned, good sized wings with crispy batter & tasted fresh – busier than the KFC next door on a Saturday night so they must be doing something right 🐓
