Gorilla Burger Leeds St

Went here for a late dinner.
Spent $35 and it was money well spent!
Forgot what I ordered but it was a Gangster Burger. Had Beef Brisket, thick beef patty, bacon… definitely worth the visit.

Chips were well seasoned and the aioli complimented the whole meal.

Great service from the lads and knew exactly what I was after… big meat, big flavour and great price.

Burgers were good, fried chicken bites were pretty average.. wouldn’t bother ordering them again.

Ordered the burgers while at Fortunes, and they arrived in a doggy bag.
They were the saddest looking burgers that we’d encountered while visiting Welly.
Flavours and taste were a reflection of the looks, care and effort seemed to be missing ingredients.
Oh dear.

Best burgers in wellington!!! We ordered 2 burgers and chips, secret sauce is so yummy. Chips were awesome as well. Seating space is awesome for good days. Loved the service from staff, very welcoming.

I’d heard good things about this place and was excited to try it but was very disappointed. I’ll start on a high note and say that I’m giving them 3 stars because of the nice staff and the jungle fries were pretty good. The burger however was very bland and was mostly breading, not chicken. It’s also worth noting that this is not a good place to get a gluten free bun as these buns were so thick and dry (it’s hard to find a good gluten free bun anyway so this isn’t their fault). The food was just average and did not live up to the hype.
