I thoroughly enjoyed the gourmet burger experience. The portion size was generous, and the combination of the burger, beer, and fries was a culinary delight. The flavors were well-balanced, making it a tasty treat. What impressed me most was the reasonable price, making it a fantastic value for money. Highly recommended for those seeking a satisfying and affordable gourmet burger fix.
I wasn’t in Auckland for long, but I made sure I had time to go and try the new Wahlburger on the wharf. On my way there I walked past Gormet Burger and Brews and I saw a lady sitting outside with a huge, delicious looking burger. it was huge!
so after some soul searching I ditched Wahlburger and went inside. glad I did. awesome blue cheese burger, good size, the bun is big but so were the ingredients. nice chips, just need bigger portions of that delicious aioli 🙂

The waitress had no care for customer service, her attitude and tone was a reflection of that. Unfortunate for us food was really bad, old bun, burned and dry burger patties and no sauce on one of the burgers. For such a convenient place to grab a quick bite, the food waiting time is really long.

First, What I felt as soon as I received the hamburger was that the patty was too small for the bread.
Even though most of the bread was burnt, the staff made an excuse, saying it was inevitable because it was baked on the grill. Later, the staff asked me if I wanted another burger, but if it’s a burger with bread on it anyway…

Awesome spot for a cold Mexican beer after a long day (I’d hiked from north to south across New Zealand’s narrowest point) and a delicious burger – I had the cheeseburger – with ample fries. Sit outside with the locals and watch the world go by while you take in the impressive skyline of downtown Auckland. A much better option than the expensive and jam-packed places along the Viaduct. Highly recommended.
