What do Harry’s Café de Wheels – Woolloomooloo visitors reviews this place?
The food was very good. Chips were so crunchy. Pies were one of the best I’ve tried. There’s a wall full of celebrities who visited. It was funny to find out that Richard Branson visited this place 🤣 Very cheap also.
Definitely the best meat pies I have ever tried. It’s a famous place to visit and try the pies. You order and stand around eating since it is only a food stand. They have pictures of famous people who visited the place. It is near the port and there are plenty of beautiful restaurants near the place.
Being the original iconic location for Harry’s Cafe De Wheels, you can be forgiven for expecting a lot at the Woolloomooloo outlet. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectation.
Not sure if the staff were just having a bad day but they were incredibly rude and abrupt with us over a simple miscommunication about our order and a deal they were offering. It really ruined the entire experience.
Nonetheless, there are some great meal deals you can get here. The food is reliable but won’t knock your socks off by any means. With several other locations around Sydney, it’s hard to justify coming back to this particular outlet. Perhaps if Harry Edwards’ family still ran the outlet there’d still be passion in the food and service.
Had the pepper pie and curry chicken. Both delicious but get the pepper pie. Absolutely amazing.
Wish there were places to rest the feet when sitting on the stools at the back of the shop, but that’s just being nit picky. Doesn’t take away from the amazing food.
Best value meal in Sydney. The pie with mashed potato is so good. Came back again to get the pies before we going back to Bali. We love it!!!
