Heavy Handed

Heavy Handed is up there for best burger I’ve ever had! Delicious delicious delicious burger, flavorful sauce, and the softest bun ever. Didn’t make me feel overly full or bloated like burgers tend to do. The fry portion is huge and tbh one order is probably enough for two people. Overall, I really have no complaints. A little pricy, sure ($20 for a triple burger combo) Worth it? YEP. Great location close to the Santa Monica boardwalk, food came out fast, friendly employees. Free drink refills with fountain outside. Ketchup and napkins and other little items are also out, so you don’t have to awkwardly go up to the window and ask. Great way to start a beach day. Will definitely be returning. I understand the hype 😼

Good smash burguer. Nice place with outdoor tables and great vibe to enjoy alone, in couple or group. Fries are incredible and food is overall good. The burguer is good and tasty but I was expecting something more unique when I saw the place crowded and good rating.
Special highlight – very clean and good restroom for customers.

First time here and the food was the bomb! We both ordered the double and everything was freshly made. Got the basket French Fries to share. For dessert we had a swirl ice cream cone. It’s remind me of frosty freeze but better. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good quality cheese burger. The vibe here is friendly and love the artistry on the wall. FYI there is plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant. Enjoy!

The location reminded me of the many delicious Portland outdoor food carts with great food combined with a strong beer selection. Heavy Handed boasts a great hamburger, made with quality ingredients although on the pricier side. The french fries were okay, but expected them to be on par with the burger and they just weren’t. Seating can be tricky during lunch hours so I highly suggest heavy someone scout a table while another waits in line to order.
