Le Thai

WOW! Quite unexpected delight. Located Fremont and sixth. The server was beyond outstanding. The atmosphere was perfect and the food. Oh my what can I say about the food…

Our server started off by asking if anyone had any allergies that he needed to be aware of which was very nice because we did have a few. The amount of heat added to every dish was based on what we asked for not what the house decided it should be, which was very nice. I think I should add a little more, but it was so good.

You won’t be able to tell By the photos as we dug in immediately, and I forgot to take a few shots, we did a lot of tasting of each others and quite delightful. My favorite was the brace short ribs Rice.

The price was very fair, considering the food that you got – I would’ve paid more.

I had the awesome flat noodles and my husband had the green curry. The flat noodles I had it level five spice. So yummy ! The noodles were sweet and wonderful. The steak was a little dry which is minus one star. The green curry had the right spice and texture of coconut milk. For the appetizer we had the Thai wings which was nothing special and the satay chicken. We came in time for the happy hour so we each order a Thai beer. They also have a lunch menu which we missed. A great time for a first time.

Really enjoyed Le Thai for a late night dinner on a Wednesday in April. Arrived at 8:30pm without a reservation and were told it would be 45 minutes and would be texted when ready. Walked down to Container Park watched the praying mantis show and had the text within 20 minutes. (Was told by staff that wait time can be as long as 1.5 hrs, so plan accordingly)

Dined at the bar. Good service and conversation with bartenders and fellow patrons.
For the 2 of us tried the following:
Cream cheese rangoons-Good
Waterfall Beef-Amazing!
Awesome flat noodles w/ Pork-Very good
Garlic fried rice w/ Shrimp – Very good

Overall the dinner was great from service, vibe and the fantastic food. All for a reasonable price (under $100).

This is without a doubt my favorite Thai food restaurant in all the world. But this is the second time I have come to the restaurant and been told there is a 15 to 20 min wait. When clearly there is a few tables that are empty in the warmth of the restaurant. We were asked not to hang by the door because it is too congested. We were then asked to move outside where it is cold to wait.
I get that they don’t want to overwhelm their servers, with too many tables, but to make a customer stand outside because you didn’t want to inconvenience a server is a little much. Just let us wait at the table and tell us it will be a min. I just think consideration of the customer and their comfort should be paramount!
But again, without a doubt the best Thai food ever!!

Was visiting Fremont St and stopped in for dinner. Would definitely come back again if in the area. Sat at the bar and the food was great. Really enjoyed meeting our bartender/server Rudy, he was very welcoming and made the overall experience over the top excellent. We had the pork belly, 3 color curry, and ox tail soup and all were fantastic.
