McDonald’s Airport Drive Thru

We visit this McDonald’s a lot as it is close to home and over the past few months we have been experiencing food which is not to a very good standard. We are regularly getting fries which are old and stale, burgers which have old patties and are poorly put together and frozen cokes which only fill half the cup or have been premade as they are half melted. We used to love the soft serve from this restaurant however of late they have started to resemble kiddie cones.

This McDonalds is conveniently located close to the airport. Like other places they have options of ordering from the self serve kiosk or heading up to the counter. There is pleanty of seating, both inside and out. They also have a fairly large playground inside.
There are parking spots on both sides of the building but the parking area by the drive through is usually busier.

Extremely busy mcdonald’s being so close to the airport, so takes a while to get your order. Staff were pleasant enough and the burgers ordered were fine. Coffee was really well made. The restaurant it’s self was clean, overflowing rubbish bins. I’m not sure if they need more staff but the wait time was really long inside the restaurant, but it is what it is.

Some tables had not been cleaned. A bottle of cleaning spray was on a chair in one of the dining areas. Our coffee was great, however, and it was easy to find a sheltered place to drink away from the breezy main entrance. The young woman who made our coffee was engaging and clear. (Thank you! You get full marks!) Unlike her colleagues on the food counter who called out numbers when orders were ready but did not even glance up when the customer came to collect. At least when I was waiting. A busy little place that did the job well enough. I’m not complaining.

Very poor by the service personnel my daughter went and bought $4 combo deal 3 nuggets with small fries along with barbaque sauce. After reaching to the car…there were no fries…such a pain to go back there…have attached the receipt. Kindly check the order before giving to the customer…why do you guys don’t do vegetarian burgers like KFC and
