Very good for a quick lunch when you are stopping for gas and other items, or perhaps you need a rest period. The food is what you expect for a McDonald’s, but the featured chocolate pie is quite delicious. The restaurant is clean and well kept. If you are non-Irish, your debit card may have a hard time working at the kiosk, just order at the counter.
This is a busy McDonald’s as it is also in a Petrol Station so lots of traffic passing through come here to take a break from their journey. Its just off the Cork Dublin Motorway so very convenient. Not a lot of seating area though so be aware of that at busy times. Parking is also pretty good but still can be hard to park if it is very busy and there is parking for trucks too
I had to mark this place down for attention to detail. The server on the drive through, did not put pepper into the bag for the breakfast muffins we bought, and we had to ask for sugar for coffee! Little things go along way. And they weren’t even rushed.
Live locally I can honestly say 9 times out of 10 the order is incorrect
You drive home and either something missing or burger not as requested
I have said numerous times I will never order from Cashel again. But today is definitely the last time I ever order from the McDonald’s Cashel
I have brought back incorrect orders but nothing changes. Some staff are lovely but some are very rude and have no interest in what your ordering or even been polite.
Standard very poor in Cashel branch.
Definitely way better places to eat.

Called in Monday around 9.30pm. Absolute chaos!!!!
The lad who was taking orders had the personality of an executioner! I felt like I was bothering him. My husband wanted a steak house stack meal . ” Don’t have any ” was the reply.
There were lots of staff in the kitchen area, but they were like headless chickens! There was a lot of people waiting for food who were quickly getting sick of waiting.
When my order came it was wrong. I asked for a quarter pounder without cheese….I was given a quarter ponder with cheese but no pickles or onions. I told a server and he said “Oh…didn’t you want cheese?” He returned with another burger and said sorry about that. I looked at the box. Someone had written ‘1 cheese’ on it. I checked inside and it was with cheese. I notified the server again and was then given a burger with everything! I eventually got my burger, my husband was in the car waiting, with the rest of the order which, was cold at this point. Just before I came out, the tills had stopped working and customers were stood around totally bewildered. Wouldn’t go again.
