I ordered a hamburger for my baby, and I said it was for a baby. Only meat and cheese I said. They put BLACK PEPPER and A LOT OF SALT. We will never come back.
Do not order bacon at night!!!
About a month ago on two separate occasions I ordered some burgers with bacon on it and after being about halfway through the first burger I noticed an off taste and further inspection I found the bacon had dark spots about the size of a thumbnail, felt horrible ill after realising I had eaten it and I informed McDonald’s customer service and in all honesty it sounded like it happens all the time!!!!
The most slowest drive thru I have ever gone through. 45mins! You would of been well aware of that wait prior to me proceeding through the speaker box with 5 cars before me. Upon getting the order, it was the complete wrong order so had to wait till that was fixed. I understand the time of visit was after 12am, and you would of been busy from people coming back from an event in new Plymouth. Either shut the drive thru or shut inside if you don’t have enough staff to run both. Chips were stone cold, drink tasted watery as, burger was pretty dry.
I ordered my meal and waited 20mins and then went to count to let them know I ordered was taking too long. The guy said he would sort it and after another 10mins I went to the counter again. He did my ordered and then I would of had to wait for my cup of tea which is the only thing I actually went in for. I walked out with most of my ordered and no tea. This is the worst experience I’ve had.
Two of the ordering screens are hard to use at some times in the day glare thru window means you can’t see the items on the screen. Can’t order from real people makes it totally impersonal. Order from the machine get handed your food they may speak. That day, hot, stressed staff and traveler’s/customers both hot and short on patience to be polite to each other.
