McDonald’s New Lynn

It’s was quiet not many cars at all (only 1 other car). Service was good standard but the food. Chips not even near full. Disappointing

Absolute shambles at the counter. Workers that give up and walk away from the mounting orders left for minutes on end. A guy in non uniform just focused on drive thru orders but placing bags and order slips on the counter. Green hair girl losing receipts. Ordering machines not giving receipts. A customer had to literally intervene and she cleared the orders on the counter while the non uniform tall guy just said ‘thank you’🤦🏾‍♀️It was super busy, but no good system going and workers doing multiple different jobs.. really sad. Waited 20 mins for a sundae & fries..Bruh! Sort your store. Never seen that at ANY McDonald’s in my life! Smh

Good service, foods prepared well and nice coffee. Only ordered through drive thru, the service seems consistent. Love the BLT bagel. I wish McDonald’s Australia would add it to their menu. The double quarter pounder is good, I added lettuce, tomato, and mayo, which makes it really good.

Something needs to change, whether it’s staff or management. Rude staff, burgers missing items, order 10 pack spicy nuggets, got 4 spicy nuggets mixed with normal ones. To the owners. Sort your franchise out. Very Very poor

Poor and unacceptable service! Would give no stars if possible!

We went through drive-thru and used pay wave to pay for our $17 meal. When we went to the second window to collect, we were asked to pay again. They claimed that payment didn’t go through on their system. We showed them the payment transaction via our banking app and despite seeing this, they refused to give our food. They cited the ‘pending’ on our bank transaction meant that it hadn’t gone through. Spoke to three different staff including the manager who refused to hand over the food we’d paid for.

There was no offer of a refund or to reverse the payment from their end. They cited that the ‘pending’ on the banking end meant that it hasn’t gone through and said to return to restaurant once it has cleared or to pay $17 again. We left without the food we’d paid for.

I am in disbelief at how poorly this was managed and over what is such a minuscule amount! I will be making a formal complaint via the website too.
