McDonalds Paraparaumu

Unorganized store, rubbish over flowing, drinks are getting made then lift on a bench some were there for the whole time I waited and we waited 20 mins for cold chips, paid for a large got a large box with probably a small bags worth. Paid for a happy meal, came in a paper bag with no toy (you pay extra for this!) Burger was average with hard cheese. Will not be returning!

As per the usual with McDonald’s, the food is thrown together with minimal care or effort, seating areas are disgusting and seldomly cleaned, staff are rude and lack any customer service and the food is just overpriced garbage. The image below speaks for itself. Nothing out of the ordinary here, better than the local KFC at least.

It never ceases to amaze me how absolutely incompetent the people who work here are. Not all of them of course I’m sure some of them care, for the most part the majority don’t seem to. $15.80 for a large combo with literally 3/4 of the chips missing from the package, the burger as always looks like a staircase. Imagine being paid to make burgers for a living and not being able to assemble one… My order didn’t have a straw either for the drink that I paid for, no problem I can just go up to the counter and grab one. Of course the second you go up to ask for something the staff scatter and you’re left standing there for 10 minutes being ignored even when they’re not busy. I pay money that I have to work hard for to come and eat at this place and always leave disappointed.

Cleanest McD’s I seen for some time. The food was typical menu obviously but was prepared with care and not thrown at the same location on a hot plate. Has to rate amongst the best McDonald’s in NZ.

The manager Justine that helped over drive through had absolutely fantastic way of taking your order. Food was decent as well. Very happy.

New Year’s Day and McDonald’s was extremely busy. We waited longer than usual but this did not stop the staff from staying positive and give their best efforts.

The person who served us was doing multiple different jobs but still wished everyone a happy new years which was really lovely.
