About this restaurants :
Salt and Pepper offers a flavorful journey right in the heart of the city. It’s been recommended by many, and so, we finally came. My recent visit here allowed me to indulge in their much-acclaimed food, specifically salt and pepper chicken, (pictured) accompanied by a generous portion of chips. The chicken was outstanding—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned perfectly with just the right balance of salt and pepper with spice that tingled my taste buds without overpowering the natural flavors of the meat. The chips were a delightful companion, crisp and golden, acting as the perfect foil to the spiced chicken.
Prices were fair, but perhaps a tad too high.
However, the popularity of Salt and Pepper does come with its downsides. The restaurant was overwhelmingly busy, which led to a few issues. Firstly, the waiting time was minimal, yet we had no where to stand to wait for the order, and the bustling atmosphere, though lively, felt a bit too chaotic at times. The staff, while courteous, seemed run ragged, struggling (but succeeding) to keep up with the demanding pace of the crowded eatery.
In conclusion, if you’re planning to visit Salt and Pepper, be prepared for a bit of a chaotic time and a bustling crowd, especially during peak hours. But rest assured, the delicious food, particularly the salt and pepper chicken, is well worth the inconvenience. For a more relaxed experience, consider visiting during off-peak hours or opting for takeout rather than sit-in, to enjoy their delectable offerings at your own pace.

Beautiful food!!
Came highly recommended from a friend, and boy, did it live up to the hype. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and chips were amazing.
Also recommend the hash browns, the nicest hash browns I have ever had!
They opened at midday, and we arrived at 12:05. After 10 minutes, there was a queue out the door, so arrive early or be prepared to queue.
Food is good, but the quality is slightly inconsistent. Some of the hash-browns were hot and crispy and the others were barely warm. The fries that came with the wrap also felt like it had been left out for a while. Overall still worth a visit if you’re in the area. The sticky beef and salt & pepper chicken are quite decent.
Called in there today, the place was packed which was nice to see. We were served quickly, there was a queue but it was fast moving and we got to perv on other people food. We had a small wait after ordering, maybe 10 minutes but that is more than fine considering how many people were in there. Now, the food, OMG…it was amazing and there’s plenty of it too. I had the trilogy and some hash browns, I couldn’t eat it all, and I eat A LOT!! The wife had the standard S&P chicken, there was so much meat!! The whole experience was perfect. We were sat next to a family and we asked if they had eaten there before, they replied, “yeah, yesterday”…says it all really. Amazing!!!!!!!
I arrived 15 minutes after opening, and the queue was pretty long. Its obviously very popular, easy to see why. I has salt and pepper squid and chicken with sticky rice and chips. The dining area is busy, with a few booths and then tables with people sitting where they could.
Is it delicious – yes, very
Is it healthy -nope, not at all
However, the food must have MSG in it… in the sauces. I was ill from it the following day.
