Taco Bell Shortland Street

While I didn’t have high expectations for a fast-food chain, I did notice that this establishment pays close attention to presentation. Although not spectacular, the symbolism of Auckland’s Central Business District and the use of neon lights gives the interior a unique and modern take on the familiar Taco Bell branding.

Unfortunately, the positive ambiance isn’t enough to make up for the disappointingly slow service. I ordered my meal during quiet hours, yet I still had to wait for over ten minutes. The menu prices also felt too steep for the quality of food offered.

Furthermore, the menu lacks variety and creativity. Each item may seem unique, but they all essentially boil down to the same base with a few extra toppings. Ironically, their many varieties of tacos taste particularly identical, making it difficult for new customers to choose. This contrasts with Taco Bell chains in the United States, which offer diverse taco shells and a range of Mexican-inspired desserts and sides.

In conclusion, while the atmosphere shows promise, I can’t strongly recommend this Taco Bell restaurant due to its high prices and long wait times for food. You’d be better off ordering from a more respected and higher-quality restaurant, as waiting this long for a single meal defeats the purpose of the fast-food concept.

I love that they serve with their special hot sauce – which helps you adjust the flavours.

For the expectation of a fast food chain store, it definitely delivers on great taste for a cheap price.

I ordered through uber eats. Part of my order was missing and the cinnabells i got were rock hard and dark brown. Like they had been refried.
Bit annoying, that you can get something so simple so wrong. Wasn’t expecting amazing, I know it’s fast food. But that was terrible for the price and the of it. Totally regret ordering.

Didn’t even clean the tray from the previous customers and served us with it. Debris from the fries (probably fries or nachos) from the previous person was still left all over our tray while I only ordered tacos with nothing that has those spice flakes or something.

I had great atmosphere with two storey restaurant. It taste almost similar to Taco Bell at US. There was hanging a big bell. If you are happy for the meal, you can ring the bell. I also ranged that bell. Free wifi was bonus facility.
