I live on NJ, so coming to Texas, I needed to try authentic Mexican tacos, and after a lot of searching, we decided to try this place. Wow! I will never taste tacos the same. These were amazing! I ordered steak only, but my friend ordered 1 of each. And she loved them all, too. It’s such a tiny location, but it has the best flavor tacos in all my life. ❤️

Located in the heart of Oak cliff Taqueria El Si Hay has to be a place for everyone to come try out their tacos! It’s really good as always and worth stopping by to give them a try. What’s sets them apart is the variety of perfect seasoned meats with double tortilla. There’s always a line and it’s cash only. So be prepared to wait in line. Only down side, is there is no place for seating.

Been coming for years, their flavors are always consistent. Service is quick, they don’t dillydally. Orders are prepared relatively quickly, for my order for 20 tacos (10 fajita, 5 lengua, 5 pastor) it took about 20 mins. We came on a Saturday around 8pm, quite a few cars waiting and there were 3 people who ordered before me. We got our orders pretty quick. Horchata la pretty good too. They’ve got elotes on the weekends. Everything’s cash only so be sure to bring enough for your order.
Great little taco stand! We had the bisket and barbacoa tacos. Highly recommend the red salsa if you like a kick of spicy. The barbacoa had a little more fat than I like. I wish this place had some outdoor seating, so I could stay there all day! So glad this place does not serve beer because it would be pure heaven.
If yall see a long line (there usually always is)dont even bother was not worth the wait . The past times i went they were the best tacos. My most recent visit was highly disappointing waited in line for 30 min for some tortillas with rationed meet when they usually top them genorus amount will have to find another spot 👎
