The Bowl

Greeted kindly when I approached the counter & directed to a choice of rices or noodles, chose a size and lots of options on the main part of my meal. Got my meal quickly and worth no fuss. Paid for it at the check out, it’s a meal at the current price of just under $15 – medium meal. Tasted Herat and went down a treat.

Small bowl $13.50. Choice of rice or noddles then salads except fried onions are a $1.00 extra, go figure, then 2 choices of protein, chicken or beef or pork. With a can $16.50 all up. Lots of food! Tasting dishes.

Bought the medium bowl; steamed rice with two toppings: Teriyaki Chicken & Tonkatsu Karaage Chicken, topped with Japanese mayo and soy on the rice. Absolutely divine dinner, the chicken was so juicy 😍

I get take-away from The Bowl whenever I visit Tweed Heads. Fantastic food. Especially the ginger pork.

I’m so sorry to say but this is absolute rubbish food that they are selling . So sweet and so salty and full of MSG I can still taste the intensive amount of salt/sugar/msg they have put into their food and it’s been hours. Had 2 bites and returned the meal told the owners this is way to salty and sweet to consume and I don’t want my money back however they should work on their food as it’s too sweet to even be considered in the desert menu.
. Highly do not recommend pay the extra $5 and get proper food .
