What do The Charcoal Grill visitors reviews this place?
Lamb kebabs are a flavorful delight! The tenderness of lamb combined with the spices and herbs used in marination creates a savory and aromatic dish.
The meat’s richness pairs wonderfully with a variety of seasonings, allowing for diverse flavor profiles. Whether it’s cumin, paprika, garlic, or a blend of various spices, they all contribute to the unique and satisfying taste of lamb kebabs
One of the best spots for a Kebab in Galway City. Great service too
Your kebab restaurant serves the most delicious food! And I must express my gratitude to the kind waitress who reminded me that I left my phone on the table as I was leaving. Thank you so much!
Galway is a must-visit place for those who want to taste a different cuisine in the city. Both the staff and the taste of the food are good enough to make you leave very satisfied. Thank you The Charcoal Grill.
I was looking forward to visiting this place as I had heard great things. I was eating in and in fairness the waitress was great and looked after me straight away and was pleasant enough. I had the lamb donner which was a plate of very dry sliced lamb with rice, salad and a few chips. I suspect usually they drown the dry meat in sauce so you can’t taste it, but I like my sauce on the side. The bread (I opted for naan) was only two small pieces and simply not enough for the meat. I paid €15 and they couldn’t even provide me with a full naan or pitta. There were less then a handful of fries god knows where that rice came from but it was tasteless plate filler.
Also, if you are looking for atmosphere, forget it. The clientele here are exactly the kind of people who will keep this place in business and I suspect wouldn’t know a decent kebab if they tasted one. I overheard one guy explaining rather loudly to his poor girlfriend about why he doesn’t like her parents, because they judge him, why Kenny is a white haired looser, and why he won’t be turning up for work tomorrow because he wants the day off at the behest of his poor girlfriend who exclaimed that she was so happy that he had recently got a job and didn’t want him to lose it. So yeah no atmosphere, or maybe great atmosphere if you like a live version of Jerry Springer while you eat.
