About this restaurants :
PRO:
– Good size burger
– Perhaps best value here if you’ve come here hungry
CON:
– Airport prices so obviously expensive $$
– Shoestring fries (not my fave)
– Greasy burger that does fill up somewhat but not long
SUMMARY:
I’m rating this according to airport standards so the meal was ok. But just barley for the money spent and taste of the food. Sorry, but it’s still got to be about the food.
The only downside was it cost 30 bucks.
If you really want to experience The Counter go anywhere but here.
The best way to describe the burger here is to imagine those times you’re at a party and someone is grilling burgers in the backyard— the burgers are cooked over the period of an hour and piled on top of each other. Then finally after 30 minutes, they get brought inside, and you start getting your share to find out that they’re overcooked, luke warm, the cook forgot the seasoning, and that the cheese has gotten solid again after such a long time sitting. But you eat it because you’re hungry and in good company — except in this case you’re probably just hungry.
It almost fell on the floor and for a second I thought that would add some much needed seasoning and taste to my food.
2/5 stars, at least they didn’t screw up my order.
