What do The Druid visitors reviews this place?
Came here on a Friday during an off-peak hour and found the place quite bustling with locals and tourists. The word among the locals was that Druid pours one of the best draft Guinness beers in the city. While it wasn’t comparable to the ones I’ve tried in Dublin, it was still velvety smooth.
Food-wise, Druid championed hearty and generous portions. The lightly-seasoned fried calamari especially stood out with its sheer size of the portion – undoubtedly a steal for its price. However, my favorite of the meal was the Oxtail Soup. It was a seasonal gem that’s only served in the colder months, and it was replete with two huge oxtail bones and savory broth that beautifully harmonized with the slight tang from the spinach.
The Shepherd’s Pie and Druid Fish & Chips leaned more towards the traditional side without much flair, but they were still good choices with the beer.
For anyone seeking an authentic Irish pub experience, complete with classic dishes, great beer, and a spirited environment, Druid is an undeniable gem. Highly recommend giving them a try.
Today was a cold and rainy day and this soup was delicious, warm and tasty! Perfect for a quick warm up of my body and hands.
I totally recommend this seasonal dish
