The Kart

The poutine is tasty but I was disappointed that some of my fries were undercooked.

Update : as I wrote, some of the fries were UNDERCOOKED. That means they were still hard ( not too soggy as you responded in your excuse). At my age I can tell when potatoes are cooked or not.

What I didn’t mention was that, I was waiting, standing between both closed windows while the cook and server were inside because I didn’t know which window to order from. A woman walked up from behind me and up to the right window, where the server opened her window and began chatting. I sounded like they knew eachother and i thought she may have been picking up an order until I heard this woman order for her family! I was on a lunch break from work on limited time and didn’t appreciate your server not taking my order first since I had been standing there first, regsrdless of knowing this other customer. So to get my order and rush home only to find some of my fries were undercooked (hard) was disappointing.

Trust me, I love nothing more than giving 5 star reviews and wish that was the case every time I choose to spend my hard earned money but unfortunately that’s not always the case. All i can do is rate honestly, based on the food I’m served and my overall experience.

Amazingly perfectly the absolute best place I have gone to amazing staff amazing service they treat you with love and all the food is cooked to perfection and with all the love in the world they treat you like family you feel at home and cozy and you leave happy and full with a smile on your face everytime I recommend THE KART to anyone and everyone that wants something amazing and we’re you will be treated like gold and leave fully happy satisfied and will garented be coming back for more time and time again. ☺

Actually stopped by on our way to a camp ground back in the summer. Ordered some hotdogs and fries, it made for a really good lunch. There are the classic toppings: ketchup mustard and relish, that they prep for you, and same goes for ketchup/vinegar on the fries(which were fantastic). I’d love to stop by again if I’m ever in the area.

Fish and Chips are delicious at “The Kart”.

They’re located in the Canadian Tire parking lot and I must say it is a hidden gem. Got there for lunch time and the orders the two gentlemen were putting together are tasty, my goodness.
Your choice if you want the salt on the chips, the two piece haddock fried to a nice crisp and tartar sauce with a lemon wedge !!! BLESS !!!

No seating and I did not want to eat in the civic, so I ate on the trunk of my car was too full after the two pieces of fish to finish my fries so I saved them for the road was heading to Sudbury this day so it was a great idea to take them to go. I will try the burger next time I am in town.

Poutine was good and fresh but pretty standard. Nothing special and pricing was high for what you get. It was $10 for the medium size you see. Kart is pretty and looks great. Easy to access location by the Canadian Tire with lots of parking space. I’m thinking they’re a 3 but I’m giving a 2 since none of the young staff inside were apparently wearing masks. I wouldn’t have purchased there if I had known that. I wasn’t the family member purchasing. Nice that they have the COVID signs out front though. I wouldn’t go back.
