The Viking

Today, I tried something off my list, Viking, known for burgers and beers, and I had planned to order one of those bad boys, but then something else caught my eye – the French dip sandwich. Let me tell you, it was out of this world! The horseradish added a unique twist that I loved. And the fries? Crispy and delicious, thanks to the beer batter.

But that’s not all – I also tried the pasta salad on the side. Spicy and full of Mexican flavors, it perfectly complements my sandwich. And the best part? Our server was super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.

Now, here’s the kicker – we happened to visit on game day, which meant the menu was even more exciting than usual. I’ve heard amazing things about the shrimp tacos they serve, and I can’t wait to go back and try them for myself. This sports bar has it all, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Came here since we wanted a great eatery to play pool. Arrived during happy hour, ordered the Wednesday burger special and got a couple of beers. We also tried a couple of appetizers. Everything was wonderful and delicious and our bartender was a great guy who gave amazing service. We will definitely be back.

We have seen a bunch of positive reviews, so we decided to check it out. They definitely lived up to the hype! From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted and offered a spot at the bar (they were packed). Even with a packed house, our drinks arrived quickly. The food was outstanding; portions were generous and definitely worth every penny. Service was fantastic. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and made us feel welcome.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The staff is professional and proficient wether its just me or in a large group. And the food that small bar kitchen is pushing out is exquisite. The Viking burger is tops in the city. The tater tots are a perfect side along with the house made dipping sauces. I have recently been getting the salads and was quite impressed with the taco salad which can be ordered with our without meat but either way the salsa ranch dressing is the star of the show. Even their side salad is thoughtfully prepared and not just a handful of bagged greens. The Viking also has a great beer list filled with local and regional favorites as well they carry local spirits and serve excellent cocktails. The Viking is great for lunch or dinner before a show or any event at the spokane arena.

2.14.24 update
Took my Valentine here for another burger and brew Wednesday. I tried a new western bacon bbq burger with the city’s best side salad. It was phenomenal lots of Bacon Fried onions and The right amount of BBQ sauce. The salad is top notch tons of fresh crisp lettuce topped with black olives and tomatoes and crisp seasoned croutons with the best blue cheese in any bar I’ve ever been. What really stood out this time was the service. When we got there at 11:30 it was chill and a few tables were flowing. Then it seemed like the lunch rush all came in all at once, and our waitress Ari was super busy getting tables drinks and food and checking on us again and again. By the time we left at 12:30 ish the place was at max capacity and Ari and team were churning it out with a swagger and poise.

We came because a friend recommended this place, and we weren’t disappointed! We had the Buffalo chicken nachos and they were sooooo good, my favorite place to get some nachos now! We also had the Buffalo wings and they were ok- mine were kind of dry but still delicious. We will be back to try more food items! We love this place and the waitress with the really pretty purple hair was super nice. 🥰🥰
