The White Lady – Karangahape Road

Fresh, fast, made to order perfect old-school the way it should be burger place. Beef, chicken, veggie burgers, steak sandwich, and gluten free options, they have it all. Chips are great. They offer every kind of sauce you can imagine. And they have a great patio dining area to take in the neighborhood action while you enjoy the deliciousness.

Taste wise, just as delicious as I remembered. Was hungry before our improv show at the Wine Cellar and needed something filling but not heavy, and the double cheeseburger (with added pickles and bbq sauce) was a perfect choice. So tasty, even as the bun and burger really started to fall apart towards the end. Very meaty. As for atmosphere, the area is hit and miss but there are 3 basic picnic tables outside the ordering window. White Lady for taste remains in my Top 5 Auckland burger places.

Was looking for a late night feed and came across the K road branch, thought I’d give it a try. Got the double cheeseburger, was absolutely blown away. The patties were so juicy and the veges crisp and fresh. Had a lovely chat with Scott what a friendly guy, excellent customer service. If you want a top tier burger experience in Auckland, go to the White Lady on K road.

I ordered the Chicken Burger and it was a great bite of burger.
The ingredients tasted fresh especially the vegetables in it which gave it that great crunch and the chicken was very flavourful without feeling oily.
The packaging was basic but did the job of keeping the burger together without letting the insides fall out.

The patty-meat-vegetables ratio was very good, none of the ingredients seemed too much or too little, the ingredients came together nicely to make a fulfilling burger.

The price is on the expensive side, especially for the burger itself and the prices go up from the chicken burger price based on which premium meat you choose.

The burger was just about filling though it could be bigger.

The staff were great.

Overall a good burger place to get a bite from.

The price range is average for Auckland region and is relatively student budget friendly. Great for a weekly dinner or lunch out!

Outside area available with some local live music depending on the day.

I came to The White Lady on K-road after hearing great reviews about the place. I had the White Lady burger and a caramel shake. I have to say I was not impressed by the flavour of the burger. I also felt that the meat was a tad bit undercooked. On the plus side, the burger was really huge and was possibly the only way its price could be justified.

The milk shake although a bit ‘liquidy’, was tasty.

I might try again and hopefully have a better experience.
