About this restaurants :
Visiting Austin for work, I HAD to stop at in for a bite. No jalapeño burger and soggy fries for me, I chose the three piece chicken dinner with sweet potato fries and slaw… really good but not great. The food and service exceeded my expectations and I rode away full and happy. What else can you ask for?
My first time at Top Notch and it was nostalgic to say the least. Big fan of Dazed and Confused and it seems like nothing much has changed. Great burgers and great onion rings. The staff was mighty friendly and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back.
I have been coming here for years. Longhorn is the way to go! Front of House made me feel rushed, and there was no line, but the experience was saved by the amazing personality of the man running the grill. He made us feel welcome.
Top Notch Hamburgers is a classic Austin restaurant that has been serving up delicious burgers and fried chicken since 1971. I love the retro atmosphere and the friendly carhop service. The burgers are charcoal-grilled and juicy, and the fried chicken is crispy and flavorful. I highly recommend the Top Notch Burger with bacon and cheese, and the fried chicken sandwich.
I’ve been to both Top Notch locations in Austin, and they’re both great. The Burnet Road location is more central, but the Hutto location is less crowded. Either way, you’re sure to have a great meal at Top Notch Hamburgers.
Food is great with the exception of the hickory burger special. It’s just sauce and a burger. The rest of their food is amazing! Check it out! Alright alright alright….
Went here today with a friend for the first time. We were greeted by the staff members. They gave some history about the restaurant and how it was featured in the film “dazed and confused.” Which was a comedy film. The veggie burger was absolutely delicious and they even gave us cute stickers. Even as we were leaving they said goodbye to us. The atmosphere was so cute and I loved the brick diner look and the music playing. I would go as far as to say that our experience was “Top Notch!”
