Uk Fried Chicken

You get what you pay for. 2.50 for a burger meal…..don’t expect anything special or outstanding but it wernt bad at all. The service was good and they move quickly in there too, so if your looking for a quick fix at a reasonable price then that’s the spot. You also get a drink with your meal too and you can put you own sauces on your meal so overall one cannot complain. Food was a reasonable standard and definitely edible. I’d recommend for that quick fix, not too heavy either

Late Monday evening happy to find them open before our drive back to Leicester. Ordered 2 Chicken wraps, 2 portions of wings with chips and a Cheeseburger.

Everything was spot on, great value for money, the chicken wings were the best I’ve had from a fried chicken shop in a while! I’ll definitely be back when I’m next in Birmingham.

Service was excellent and the brother was very friendly and welcoming. Their special sauce is definitely the best in any takeaway, very generous to allow you to pour as much as you like.

Since they open the new one in Pelham this UKS fried chicken had gone downhill the food is gone dry like they don’t care anymore.
I know it’s only £2:50 for a burger meal but doesn’t mean the chicken needs to be dry and the workers can’t even speak English probably few years back this was the spot not anymore..

The food is a different level £5 for two burger meals whether it’s a fish burger/chicken burger/vegetable burger it’s a beaut buy & cheap you can’t complain. The wings/chicken however are quite salty, sometimes the chips can have no actual potato but a hollowness which then makes the chips taste like card board but the chips situation isn’t all the time, however the chicken pieces/chicken wings are salty tbh tho it won’t stop from eating there.
You do have to repeat yourself more than once & there’s never an actual line but these sort of things are minor & could do with fixing but that’s entirely your choice either way you have my custom always. Keep it up!

Hit and miss with everything.. the burgers come out burnt, no cheese, no sauce or mayo most of the time they expect you to remind them what goes into the burger when the burger it shows with cheese, mayo and lettuce but when they put it on the burgers it the bare minimum.. although the food is cheap and sometimes it can be nice they do need to fix up a bit. Maybe a new and cleaner looking shop, new seats possibly? I doubt they even take any of these into consideration. However the nuggets come out cremated, the chips are soft at times other times they’re stale like they’ve been refried.. the sauce options aren’t enough, no BBQ sauce, no Algerian sauce (whatever it’s called round these ends). They end up putting the drinks in the bag with the food so the drinks get hot and the food gets cold would rather argue then actually sort an issue out. I rate it 4 cos I’ve never had a consistent experience with the food is edible majority of the time it’s absolutely shocking where I regret spending money and I don’t regret spending money at all. Although the food is cheap and it might seem us customers expect a lot but don’t forget the same cheap food that’s either cooked good or absolutely disgusting can get us ill and there taking our money. We have a right but this shop needs to pattern. 4 stars is a lot but tonight I’m feeling a likkle generous 🤌
