Wendy’s Hamburgers

This place was very dirty (see attached photos). Lots of squashed fries and residues on the floor and seats. The empty table next to us were lots of food residues on it and no one get it clean (we’ve been in the shop for about 40mins). The combo we ordered, they brought us the food first but totally forgot to bring us all the drinks until I reminded them in about 5 mins and insisted to see my receipt to prove I did pay for it. Also there were one solid frozen fries among the hot fries and the cashier told me to get me a free fries after I complaint. However a minute later the manager asked me a lot of questions about the free fries cashier were about to get me just trying to make sure I’m not a scammer with a not very good attitude. I went to Wendy’s a lot when I was in Japan and that was one of my favorites. Unfortunately this is an only Wendy’s within 200km radius from Wellington. So take it or leave it.

We had a great time at Wendy’s the staff were really good, nice and friendly. The wait was a little long for a “fast food” joint, but not too bad. 😉
We had the Spicy Honey Chicken burgers which were nice, really nice hot chips/fries, although they were quite salty. Lucky there drinks are very large! Think American sizes Medium is a large etc.

The food was excellent as always – had the large Cajun burger. Unfortunately the staff were not listening and ended up doubling my order, which I didn’t notice until later – when it was too late to complain to them. Made for a very, very expensive burger takeaway! Won’t be returning for quite a while!

No line and the place was empty. Cheap combos for me and my family. The cheeseburgers are small but tasty. Loved the 1/4 pounder.
Would recommend for a takeaways lunch/dinner

Small place can easily get over crowded especially on busy days/long weekends. Staff are very friendly. Ample parking spaces is a plus.
