Hidden just behind the Air New Zealand checkin area on the first floor it’s really nice and cosy, tiny regional lounge, but still very comfortable and much better compared to e.g. Christchurch one. Plenty of seats both for work and relax. Very friendly staff. Food is quite limited and not much to choose from, especially lacking vegetarian or vegan options. No barista coffee either so you have a choice of getting free rubbish American coffee or go downstairs to Sublime or other cafes.

The lounge is roomy and a vast improvement on previous versions. We tend to grab a Sublime coffee and if there’s time go to the lounge as we’re locals so are usually there for breakfast . The food is good and the range of drinks is ok. I always push for a decent Syrah but Air NZ take no notice!
Wonderful new Airport Arrivals/Departures Lounge. Plenty of room and seats. Clear signing and modern light interieur. Great cafes
Departed Nelson airport on the 20th,,,, two women at checkin talking away to each other didn’t even offer to help& I watched them after for 10 minutes still yacking 👎
First time I’ve visited the new lounge. For a small airport it’s a very nice lounge. Good food and coffees made to order.
