Arthur’s Pub

My last pub in Dublin. Down the street from the Storehouse, it only seemed appropriate. On a Sunday evening they had some live music playing folk and jazz. Great vibes. Poured a great Guinness and enjoyed a bag of Tayto crisps. Place was quite lively for a Sunday night, bartenders were awesome, I really enjoyed my visit.

Stopped in on our last evening in Dublin on the 16th for dinner around 6 pm. We were lucky and seated upstairs without much wait.

Amy took care of us and got us situated with drinks and menus in no time at all. We had the Pork Belly Bites (8€) to share which were quickly polished off. The boys had the Corned Beef Sandwich (15€) and Bangers & Mash (17€). Former was superb while the latter was average. Wife had the Chowder (18€) while I went with the Irish Stew (17€). Both were very good in depth of flavor and plating.

The atmosphere here was great. Lots of laughter and smiles along with an enjoyable positive buzz in the air. The Guinness half pint (3.30€) and Carlsberg half pint (3.30€) were the perfect touch to a solid meal with great service for our last evening in Dublin.

Definitely a spot you should check out especially when they have live music later in the evening.

Super cool pub and great food in Dublin! We shared the beef and Guinness casserole and bangers and mash. Both dishes were really good and the sauce for the beef and Guinness casserole was stellar! We ended up getting a side of soda bread (recommend!) to dip in the leftover sauce.

Lovely foods and delightful atmosphere. The seafood chowder was absolutely incredible. Rich, creamy, flavourful and full of delicious seafood bites. Highly recommended.

UNREAL! This is probably the best stew I’ve ever had!! It was super good and had a proper home made feel to it. I would 100% recommend. Staff were also very friendly and service was great!
